Quarantine can possibly be hazardous to you dental health ... especially if you play games like Rummikub. (And eat snacks at the same time) I was holding a number tile in my hand and not thinking (obviously) I started to stick it in my mouth and then something said, "Don't bite down." Listen to those still small voices. They can save your teeth. (O:

 Our currency still says, "In God We Trust."

Yet, we can't agree on which God we trust in!
Now there is a new player in the ring saying:
"You are both wrong! There is not a God, after all!"

I'm banking on Jesus. My account is safe with Him. (O:

 How important is vision? When I had been on my own for a while and was beginning to question whether I wanted to continue teaching or try something different ... I decided to book an appointment with my pastor. He was someone I greatly admired and I felt for sure, if I could just talk with him, I would have a better understanding of what I should do next. I came out pretty much disappointed ... still not knowing what to do.

LOL, as if my Pastor could tell me what to do! He did something much greater though. He asked, "What is the vision God is showing you?"

I was like, "Well, I thought maybe you would be able to help me figure that out." He replied that he could recommend the tools but I would need to apply them myself. The most important tool, was the question, "What is the vision God is showing you?

There is a scripture in the Bible where God says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish". Proverbs 29:18. Evidently, vision is really important. When we loose it, our lives can become random and unfulfilling in so many ways.

Maybe you haven't lost your vision but perhaps, it is just changing. When was the last time you had a heart to heart talk with "The Vision Giver?" Did you get off track, or does He simply have a new plan for your life?

Don't waste time. He knows your heart and He will share His heart with you. You are in His heart and if you have invited Him, He is in yours. He's not that far away. Just ask. He is waiting. (O:

 When life gives you muffins ...

How many ways can you think of to eat a muffin?  Some will eat a muffin with their fingers, others need a plate and fork.  Either way, it's going to taste the same.  But here's a way you probably haven't thought of and for good reason.  

Set your muffin on a small plate.  Take your fork.  All pretty standard so far, but guess what comes next?  Now, begin eating from the crown (center) of your muffin out.  Yes, eat a hole right smack dab in the middle.  This is where the pudding or whipped cream comes in.  Even sprinkles if you like.

By this time you should be smiling.  After all, this is more than just a snack, it's an adventure, an emotional experience..  How about sharing this with a friend, or two. Make it a party!  Serve some coffee on the side.

Good muffins, good friends ... having fun and making great memories.  That's what it's all about! 

It's true that what we don't know can hurt us, but it's also true that what we don't want to know can wipe us out. 

 News Update! The Donkeys and Elephants are ascending on Washington, D.C. "This is embarrassing," they say. "We both want our good names back."

When asked for alternatives to the Donkeys and Elephants and their reasons for being upset, one thoughtful bull replied, "What is good for the goose, should also be good for the gander."

"Are you suggesting," one curious reporter asked, "that party names should be changed to the Goose Party and the Gander Party?"

"Yes, I suppose I am." He answered.

JUST IN! We have now received news that a large group of geese and gander have made an unexpected stop from their usual migrating schedules to protest the donkeys and the elephants. When asked what they think might be a better choice, one angry gander shouted, "The People's (Republic) Party!"

To which one puzzled reporter responded, "That sounds familiar!" "I wonder where I have heard that before ..."

"DUH," said the donkeys, elephants, geese and gander all in unison and shaking their heads they all left the thoughtful reporter to figure it out on his own.

I am a registered Republican because I still find more common ground with their way of thinking. I simply cannot comprehend much of the Democrat party's agenda. We all have a right to choose though which way we will go. I pray that this right will remain constant and not be taken from us, that both sides will see cancel culture as it is, destructive and harmful to all. It will only take us off the deep end into some very troubled waters. If we think that cancel culture is an option, we will soon cancel each other right out of here and there are those who are waiting and hoping for that very result.

Strike our heel, the enemy will.  But with the Foot of God, we will crush his head!
