SAFE SPARKLERS. YUMMY TOO!

PRETZEL SPARKLERS

                                                                                      

                                                                                                                                                                     You will need 1 bag of large pretzel "rods", vanilla bark coating and various, colorful sprinkles.  Melt the vanilla bark and dip one end of the pretzel rods into it, about 1/3 of the way down.  Immediately dip the freshly coated end into sprinkles of your choice.  To dry, stand the pretzel rods up in a cup on their uncoated ends.

Lots of fun to make and even more fun to eat!

Find a round stone about the size of a big strawberry.  Clean it well and glue "google eyes" on.  Paint on a friendly smile!  Copy the poem below and give it to a secret sister or friend just for fun!

A Snot Provoking Incident

What is this?  A "snot provoking incident" is somewhat the same as a thought provoking incident.  I had one today!  Yes, during my prayer and meditation time.  Seems that I had allowed some "toxic" things to build up in my life and they needed to come out!  (O: 

What is the "detox" key here?  Humility....surrender.....tears.... yes even snot!  Not pretty, but it does need to happen sometimes!  Just grab the kleenex box and thank God for His unconditional love and patience!

Life Lessons Vs Events

Events happen every day, all day long.  We judge them to be either good or bad.  Good times entertain us and provide a welcome distraction from harder times.  We appreciate even the temporary relief!  Not so welcome events can turn us sour on life and affect our relationship with God and those around us if we do not handle them right.

Don't waste a learning opportunity during the hard times.  This is where our capacity to learn is heightened and the grace of God is so incredibly available!  Feel the pain, recognize the challenge but allow God to develop in you the Champion he has created you to be.  Study the word Champion.  That is who you are.

A real Champion has to work for what he/she gets.  Nobody else can do it or get it for them.  Will you do a word study on the word Champion and find out who you are in Christ?  Will you believe it once He shows it to you?

Every event can be a lasting life lesson if you allow it to be!
